Because she experienced first hand that the gap between having technology available, and making technology work is often a big one.

He has been in charge of design agencies and development teams, but still enjoys hands-on consultancy and design challenges.
As father of 2 sons he divides his free time between his family, his dog and a (some would say fanatic) practitioning of combat sports.
